Vibradermabrasion

cover imageVibraderm machine

You've probably heard of Microdermabrasion that exfoliates the skin through sand crystals. Now comes the next generation device called the Vibraderm. The Vibraderm uses a high vibration metal paddle that gently exfoliates the skin. Its technology is similar to a high-vibration toothbrush (Sonicare) that vibrates away the plaque build up on teeth, except the Vibraderm vibrates away the stratum corneum and stimulates the production of new collagen in the dermal layer.

In addition to exfoliation, below are additional benefits to the Vibraderm treatment:

  • Evenly and gently exfoliates the skin
  • High frequency vibration stimulates new collagen
  • Infuses cosmeceutical products deep into the skin's surface

(VibraFusion)

  • Fast treatment time allows for full body skin exfoliation
  • Painless, relaxing procedure with no down-time
  • No messy crystals
  • Safe & Effective, clients own their own paddles

VIBRAFUSION

What is Vibrafusion Therapy?

Vibrafusion therapy massages the clinician’s choice of product deep into the skin, producing enhanced results from the products.  Vibrafusion typically produces a 500% increase in the absorption of any topical product.

Those enhanced aesthetic results are now possible thanks to a new plastic infusion paddle, the Vibrafusion™ system from Vibraderm.

What does Vibradermabrasion and Vibrafusion feel like?

The vibrating motion stimulates the skin and is relaxing for many patients.  There are different levels of vibration that can be tailored to each patients’ comfort level.

Who benefits the most from Vibrafusion?

Vibrafusion will markedly improve the appearance of:

  • stretch marks
  • keratosis pilaris (rough, red bumps on outer arms, upper legs)
  • rough skin on the elbows, knees or anywhere on the body
  • dry, hyperkeratotic, cracking skin on the heels or feet

What consists of a Vibradermabrasion and Vibrafusion treatment for the face?

Vibradermabrasion:  To exfoliate, you will be treated in six zones with the medium exfoliation paddle for two minutes each. These zones include the forehead (plus eyebrows), both sides of the face, the chin and lips, the neck and the décoletté. The nose and orbital rim require a small exfoliation paddle, gently applied for one to two minutes.

Vibrafusion:  To infuse topical products, a separate Vibraderm paddle provides an irregular surface without abrasive qualities.

How soon can I see the results?

Your skin should feel smoother and better immediately after a treatment and it may be pink for 15 to 30 minutes. After about one week, you should start to see real changes taking place, including improvement in fine lines, wrinkles and large pores.

Good Morning Chicago has called the Vibraderm Skin Restoration System “Yoga for the Skin.”

Are there any precautions I need to take after getting a Vibradermabrasion treatment?

Because Vibradermabrasion exfoliates the skin so thoroughly, it is very important to: (1) moisturize the skin regularly and (2) wear a high quality UVA/UVB sunscreen daily.

Why would I want Vibradermabrasion and Vibrafusion on other parts of my body besides my face and how long does it take?

The benefits of these treatments can be enjoyed on all parts of your body. Your skin will be softer and smoother and will be much improved. Vibradermabrasion may even be performed on the bottom of your feet, for example. Many patients schedule treatments in preparation for special events such as weddings and reunions so that they can look and feel their best.

A treatment for the face/neck and upper chest can be performed in approximately ten minutes. With the speed of Vibraderm, full body treatments are now practical.
